Hello to all of the teen zoners out there!

Thanks so much for your time and attention; I hope that you will find this post to be of interest to you.

The Seeing Eye, America's premier dog guide school has an exciting oppertunity for those teens out there who are interested in learning more about what it would be like to care for, handle, and work with a Seeing Eye Dog. The Seeing Eye Seminar for Youth is a 3-day weekend-long program, which introduces teens to the fundamentals of working with a Seeing Eye Dog.

Who is eligible to participate in the Seeing Eye Seminar for Youth?
Teens above the age of 15, and who have fairly high orientation and mobility skills; as well as a genuine interest in learning more about working with a Seeing Eye Dog are welcome to apply for the program.

How much does the program cost?
If you are accepted to the program, you will undertake no out-of-pocket expense. Round-trip coach airfare from any of the 50 United States as well as Canada, your hotel room, and all meals are paid for by The Seeing Eye.

I did the SESY in May of 2005 and it was an awesome experience. Ultimately resulted in me applying to the seeing eye and getting a great dog. Glad to see such a great program being advertised more.

Yes, I also attended the seminar back in 2005.

I attended in junior year. That was...2006.
